Any Collections of Companion Mods?

Post » Sun Nov 14, 2010 4:01 pm

I'm looking for a collection of companion mods (that don't conflict with each other) to form a "crew" so to speak. Being Hortator, I should have access to a small group of special companions I can use call upon when needed. There are alot of companion mods out there, but quality can be questionable. I'm looking for the best ones, thanks!

Which ones conflict in your game? I've never noticed a problem when running multiple companion mods.

Yes, they are a good crew, but unfortunately their movement scripts aren't exactly the latest ones, so their following behaviour cannot be compared to mods based on Grumpy's last companion script (or newer).

If you want to form a crew, you can actually get a good band of nord berserkers to team up with you if you play through White Wolf of Lokken (on my site). In Lokken, you'll also get two companions related to the main story, and 1-3 more optional ones (apart from the berserkers). So you can certainly form a crew worthy a solstheim chieftain.

I have a feeling that you are looking for reliable helpers rather than high-maintenance companions, and that as a Hortator, you're not going to rely on less predictable friends like Julan and Constance. I would therefore suggest that you go http://lovkullen.net/Emma/grumpy.htm and download the following mods by Grumpy:

Companion Beryl
Companion Hurd
Wolf companion Spot
Dome Home (it's a housemod, but it includes the companion Ingred, who has an excellent following behaviour and a more extensive dialog than the other ones listed. She is a *very* good companion, but I think she isn't that much in use as she is also part of DomeHome)

I am sure there are plenty of other companions you could add in to your crew as well, but admittedly I'm not so updated in what happened in Morrowind modding lately. I know there is a very good healer companion by Melian that you might want to try. Else, I think others can probably give much better suggestions than I.
