Any confirmed WEATHER this time around?

Post » Sun Jul 11, 2010 12:00 am

I did a quick search in the forum and didn't see anything come up, but has there been any mention at all if F:NV will have weather this time around?

I understand it was taken out of F3 because rain would imply regrowth of grass etc. and that went against the wasteland that the devs had in mind for the DC area. But since Vegas was left largely untouched, would they include it?

I had an idea for a mod in fo3. that it would rain but the rain was deadly irradiated and you would have to seek shelter. anyways it didnt make much sense so i put it away.

Yes because having to wait indoors/under something for hours-days to avoid damage/irradiation is really neat..... wait... it is.

I hate to be facetious, but blue skies and sunshine are weather also.

I would have loved to have dangerous sandstorms and lighthing storms off in the distance at night. Maybe storms off over the mountains...

Sandstorms would be cool, maybe they would have reduced your Perception along with any enemies also trapped in the storm.

There seems to be certain areas where the weather changes (I'm pretty sure one of the Caesar's Legion camps has Pitt-style clouds), but I'm pretty sure there's no randomly changing weather system in place.
