Any Endgame Content Or Replay Value On Fallout 1?

Post » Sun Jun 14, 2015 11:18 am

I hear this has the least content out of all the Fallouts and has no story mods. Or any mods for that matter. With a game play run of roughly 20 hours I ma hesitant to buy.

Please respond soon. If I am going to buy it I want to get it while it is on sale. Thanks!

If you have any interest in Fallout as a whole, you should try Fallout. I can't imagine it would cost that much and on sale to boot.

I know but I have just enough to buy it. If I buy it, that's the last game I can buy for the month. I want it to last me a while.

Ah, that I can understand. From time to time Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics come up as bundle.

You might want to wait for sale.

But the game is longer than 20 hours and has a fair amount of replay value. Also, only the first quest is on (an overly long) timer.

I was blown away by the end, but 1. You might entirelly miss it considering the non-linear aspect of the game 2. It doesn't impact the lenght.

Lots of quests can be done differently so there's a decent amount of replay value, especially like if you try a speech, low combat build.

Not as much replay value as fallout 2, but still a good amount. I was also extremely interested in the story the first play through as well, and the bosses are pretty cool.

If you want to buy a fallout that is about the same price as fallout 1, I'd say go with 2. For me, it was a lot more fun and there was a lot more things to do. Of course, you would be skipping the entire game before it, but I don't really think it matters much.
