Any fun quests when siding with Legion?

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 1:36 pm

Its the only playthrough I haven't finished yet, and I was just curious to what was out there. I mostly want to get the Legions Courier Duster in LR in a couple more levels. I want that +15 action points. I've wiped out the Boomers and Omerta Thugs so far, and I have the I Put A Spell On You quest open. Never done it from the Legion side before. Should be interesting.

unfortunately not many. the legion was hit hardest with cut content due to budget, time constraint, etc.

maybe i misread your question? you can finish all quests in a legion manner (what you think would be pleasing to ceasar) but as far as quests originating from legion members, not as many as ncr.

yeah I was more or less asking about side quests. As you said, Legion got the shaft in terms of quests. Thank you for your response. The other end of I Put A Spell on you quest was interesting from the Legion perspective.

First ending I did was the Legion, and I still want to play the Legion role again. xD

Theres a quest for Forlorn Hope that if you take out their pratically leaders, as well as their doctor, which I'm sure you've done, you get a machete named Liberator or something like that. I found that one a fun one, simply because its you vs. an entire encampment of NCR, when I did it on the side of NCR, I'll admit, it was to easy to kill the Legion with their machete's and my Oh, Baby!

As well as, in the NCR side, you gotta go against the Heavy Armored troopers.

If you like I have done the other endings.. be suspectant to have to kill a lot of people seeing how 70% of the entire map it pretty much NCR.

Thank-fully, if you do go with the Legion, you get a lot more places you can raid. EX; Camp Gulf, Camp Forlorn Hope (Respawns) Ranger Station Echo, and Foxtrot.

Reason why I probably went to the Legion is because they was probably the most challenge.

Wish Betha didn't cut them as much as they had, I'm not sure if they think it would be the least active (understandable) or just shocked it was at all active. You'd think that maybe women players wouldn't go for 'em like they had, but I'm pretty sure some women like being treated like jack and others liked the challenge, and maybe even just because they like men in skirts. :pinch:

lol I just finished wiping out Camp Forlom Hope. Only got a little nicked up by a Vetern Ranger with a sniper rifle, who wasn't even aiming at me lol he had his gun pointing at least 20 feet to my left. Oh well, he ate my brand new LMG. Love that thing with AP rounds at 100 guns skill.

I'm not a fan of the Legions armor apperal, but I do like their courier duster from LR. So thats what i'm using right now.

For some reason though the NCR aren't hostile to me on sight, which is weird as i'm vilified. Plus I nuked them lol Just waiting for their hit squad to come find me.

-Highfive- NUKE 'EM! (I did the same (x )

The reason they don't attack you on sight, is because you have to like.. fail the 'don't tread on the bear' quest, my guess is if Bethasada thought it threw, I guess they need premission from higher ups.

NCR and their papers...

No idea, the lil kids at Nelis hate me for giving them gum :dry:
It's the quest for the little girl who you can find in the small Brahmin pen in the fort behind Caesar's tent.
You thought question Antony, or you know, look at the link I posted with it :P

After playing for the ENTIRE Legion on my first character, I didn't find the pin until I started looking for it xD And that was because I found the quest through wiki

NOTE A GLITCH;;

A glitch occurs which is why I couldn't do it - but once your oh so far in-game with Ceasar's quest line (Or *maybe* other quest lines) she will not appear at all and thus you cannot do it. Either restart the game and with a different character do it, or otherwise.

TO GET TO THE PIN;;

Head down the road to the left of Ceasar's Tent (The one Anthony is on) go down it, go left slightly till your off the road, and look behind you. There should be a gate, open it, etc.

Hopefully it isn't to late for you too.

Wow, didn't know their quest line took you to Vault 34. That was the quickest I have ever cleared vault 34, and going to the armory with no computer hacks. I was level 23 mind you, and I brought a crap ton of 5mm AP rounds with my Assault Carbine. Made nice work of all those ghouls. Now I got All-American. Hopefully I like it this time. I keep reading about how awesome that gun is, but I am not a big fan of the marksman carbine and all american in vats, it takes too many shots to take down a medium level enemy. It is good outside of vats when there is distance, but i'm a vats freak, so we'll see how it goes. Maybe i'll try the Long 15 next.

Well technically this is in order to help the Legon: Serve Veronica as food to the White Glove Society.

Interesting quest line, still think its my least favourite out of the 4 main sides though. Starting a new one now, and I think I will make Legion and NCR enemies, so I have more people to take out lol

Technically she is no longer part of them, well agrees with them anyway.
