Any good demon resources?

I'm sure that it can be retextured in Nifskope, but, painstakingly, one texture at a time. Perhaps though, you would only need to change a few textures or less in order to revamp it as sometimes one or two textures cover the majority of a body part and the others are just little details or for reflection/glow/shininess.

Failing that, I believe that the daemon race is already a resource, either I read it on the readme or on one of the entries on PES. I think it is listed more than one time, once as 'daemon resource beta' or some such. Maybe that's worth checking out.

I've messed with NIFSkope before, but half the time, any changes I've made to a mesh, even when saved, does nothing at all. But, oh well.

1) are you using vista?
2) are you running nifskope in administrator mode?
3) are you trying to edit nifs in your morrowind folder or in another place, ie: desktop?

It'd be a yes to the first two. And I edit them from the Morrowind folder.

Have you checked for compatibility files in your Morrowind folder? There might be a bunch of edited meshes hidden in there. *chuckle*

Well, it was ages ago when I did mess with meshes on NIFSkope... almost a year, really. And that was back on another computer.

1) Try editing them on your desktop instead then putting them in your Morrowind folder.
2) Using Vista and NifSkope in administrator mode on my computer, I usually won't see any changes to a nif unless I edit the X.nif aswell in the same way.

Alright, I think I might have made a decision here...
I've tried retexturing the Balrog from the Scourge of the Lich Father II mod, but NIFTexture won't do it. I don't know why, it's just really stubborn and won't retexture it. If anyone can tell me a way to retexture it or anything, I'd be grateful.
Otherwise, I'll see if I can have permissions to use the :: Daemon Race :: Beta.

Have you edited the correct mesh?
Creatures usually have three files asociated with them:

(Creature name).nif contains Mesh and animation
X(Creature name).nif contains the Mesh
X(Creature name).kf contains the animation

If you want to edit the textures of a given creature the only file you need to edit is X(Creature name).nif, if you just edited the (Creature name).nif then any changes will not show ingame. You do however need all three files for the creature to work ingame, unless it is like the Golden Saint and only uses the NPC/PC animations.

Hmm... looks good, hard to tell with all that fire. Haha. Send it to me if you don't mind so I can take a look at it.
