Any good races that anyone would recommend for me. I'm making a new character

breton is good for the 25% magic resistance, and thats about it. all the other starting classes racial powers are pretty pointless.

there is no single one good race in the game

racial abilities might help you iut early in the game but once you hit mid level ( 20 or so ) it soesn't realy matter any more and most racial abillities become reduntant or obsolete or useless

so pick whatever you fancy the most
