By build, I presume you want skills, gameplay ideas and such, rather than roleplaying ideas. I would recommend using Restoration, Alteration. Illusion, enchanting, and possibly hand-to-hand combat. Wear robes, and do quests for the local chapel. That's the basics for a priest. I was recently planning out a Redguard Monk character, who will pretty much only use the skills I've listed.

I would assume a Priest is pacifist, so I would say Illusion all the way, to avoid conflict. Restoration and Enchanting seem like a good idea as well. I don't think there's anything else :\ ...if you're going for a non-pacifist priest, then go with a Dragon Priest dagger

That is a very nice build. It might be the one to get me back into Skyrim again.

I played a Priestess character that used a mace & shield, restoration, illusion (only calm/courage), alteration, and enchanting. Her original mission was to clear out every Nord tomb of unrestful undead. She eventually crossed over to the dark side and became a vampire lord (lady?). It was a lot of fun. My character focused heavily on Restoration, using a follower to do the dirty work as much as possible. I was suprised how much I enjoyed using the Turn Undead school of spells. Dual casted Circle of Protection was quite useful.

Get an amulet of arkay, robes, mace,shield-side with dawnguard- avoid thieves guild. Kill undead with healing spells. Hunt down daedra etc. problem with skyrim is that you miss out on a lot of content if you play a good priest build and eventually you side with bad guys

I think I'm with you on that one. Coming from a primarily evil player, this looks like a nice build.

Glad I showed it then :D . Like i said i have fun with it. Explore with a companion and heal him and bash things heads in at the same time. I did change to Heavy armor though, since that is more my style, but still a blast.

Mine was pretty simple, yet fun character, pretty much wore a hooded monk robes and followed a Khajiit Caravan around, healing them, but never getting into the fights themselves, after a rather nasty encounter, he left the Caravan and got hired by Stenvar to protect him while he went into the ruins.(In other words, hired Stenvar as a follower but let him do all the fighting.)
