Any Good Video Guides On Setting Up MW?

Post » Sun May 05, 2013 6:20 am

I've been watching Gopher's Let's Play Fallout videos and they're very well done. Or at least the mods he's chosen are good and even some of the ones he's created. I want to set up a Morrowind game and I was hoping he had something such as Let's Play Morrowind or something similar. It doesn't look it. However, there ARE a handful of these videos by other people. Can anyone recommend a decent in-depth video guide for MW?

I am not sure what you mean. The morrowind overhaul has a video on how to install it (which includes many great mods and other things that greatly improve the game), but if you mean just a specific mod setup...I doubt it. There are SOOO many ways you can setup the game that making 1 video, or even a hundred videos about any type of setup could be robbing someone of some of the best things they may want, but never knew about. Your best bet, is ask around, see if someone is using things you want, and if they are nice they may try to walk you through it. I guess this is where I am lucky to be able to just make all my own mods =\.

P.S. I really love Gophers mods too ^_^ You could try to contact him directly on nexus or YouTube and ask, he may know if someone else has done something you might find helpful.

You're right. I've been playing MW for years and was just looking for a different perspective. I definitely have a good idea what I'd like to use. I think I may ask him though. I didn't notice him doing one but who knows.

Well if you have not tried the overhaul yet I strongly suggest it. It takes some time to set it up, but it is well worth it. It also comes with a ton of the tools and stuff you might otherwise download separately like the code patch ect. I got it for the first time not long ago, also being a person who has played it from the start I am still amazed at how some things look. I literally gasped when I left the ship for the first time after installing it, and I have used all kinds of graphics improvements like mge. It does magic with the lighting...thats what really does it for me I think, and the water...omg the water...It is like a whole new game.

I am definitely going to try Morrowind Overhaul. I noticed it before and didn't think about it too much. You've convinced me to try something different. I might miss MGE though. But then again, maybe I won't.
