Ack, why the wii, doens't gamesas know that third party games on the Wii fail commercially. This should have been done on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. I know that those systems usually cost more to develope for but more games are sold on those systems.

Yea wii svcks was hoping the new game would be at least pc or xbox or ps3 I own all 3 but I dont plan on getting wii just for 1 game

If it is a new Descent series; I would be happy if the whole set was made for the Wii... If it's not...Then I am just the old guy in the room still caressing my Descent II CD.

Hmmm, as I am a Wii owner and mainly a Descent fan, I would like to see Descent on the Wii, though to tell the truth I'm not 100% sure how it would work out. I'm completely used to Descent on the PC and I'm not sure how controls could be transferred. And FYI, one of the main reasons a lot of third-party games fail on the Wii is that they spend too much time trying to draw attention to the motion-sensing aspect of the Wii and not simply trying to add to the overall quality of the game. If a company were to develop games for the Wii just like they would for a system like the 360 (taking into account different graphics and play style of course), and simply add motion-sensing mechanics where they would be most useful and efficient, many third-party Wii games could be much better.
