Any hope of revitalizing this game?

Anyone have any ideas? I don't see F2P any time soon, if ever. What else can they do?

well their was a new data patch that fixed a good amount of issues.
crytek just has to keep patching the game.

for pc, this game will never be super populated simply because not everyone can run a game like this.
for console, it will never be too populated because console players like cod.

what i think would be a good way to bring some players back is to release some new content, not dlc.
release a couple new maps, or even bring back some of the crysis 2 maps.
they did this in l4d2, they converted all the original l4d maps to l4d2.

their is a still a pretty good player base and to be honest i like the smaller communities because everyone knows each other.

yea but when youre playing at night, the numbers are just sad, not even 200 in TDM and not even a full hunter game (PS3)

well that is with any game but at the same time crysis 3 has a much smaller player base then other games.

example in bf3 at night the only full servers your going to find are 1000ticket servers that are either 24/7 metro or 24/7 capsian/fire/kharg

i doubt cry 3 will be but crytek is moving to the f2p market. warface.
which imo f2p is a fail.

its free to play, but they are usually pay to win.
you have to use real money to buy better weapons.

i dont feel like F2P is bad, i mean you can still get by without money. U3 did a good job with F2P, having classic mode and all. Crysis 3, if they do, needs to have a mode where everyone has the same gun, so F2P isnt useless

They should fix the glitches that we already reported and then release a free weekend with C3 on sale. That would probably get more players in the game.

Yea, a free weekend would be good although they've had lots of sales...

when crysis 2 maximum edition went on sale there was a flourish of new players in the game..
I'm sure the fact that the game with both DLCs included was extremely cheap overall helped but i think a big factor was that it was released on steam.. their downfall is only having it on origin..

many people dont get the game because of origin/ea... add it to steam and boom, decent amount of new players :D
