Has anything been said about this?! As we've seen, theres new animations for sneak attacks so maybe this will be similar to what was in Deadly Reflex

i would imagine that a sneak attack on a sleeping character should kill him instantly

I'd imagine it will be something similar to the assassination seen in the gameplay trailer, I'm growing tired of these Oblivion murders by now..

The way I'd kill sleeping NPCs in Oblivion was to go into sneak mode and shoot them with some of my most damaging arrows, but then it usually takes another one to finish them. I just really hope that hitting an NPC while they're sleeping automatically kills them...

i would hope so, the thing is it would make some kills far too easy . . . if its a high lvl NPC a pure melee char would have loads of trouble while you could just sneak up and kill him in his sleep

the way to counter this i guess would be to make those NPCs more alert so you cant sneak up that close to them and youd have to try with an arrow (that cant insta kill)
