Any mods to level out the sounds?

how can I balance the obnoxiously loud sounds I get when repairing, drinking potions, looting clothes etc..

Both Morrowind code patch and quiter sounds mod claim to fix this, I have both installed and neither of them fix it!

The Morrowind Code Patch has to do with certain actions producing sounds at full volume instead of obeying the volume slider, so fixing that issue doesn't necessarily make said broken sound calls quiet.

I don't know of a particular mod, but if you look up the sound IDs that are bothering you in the Construction Set, you could always use Audacity or something and lower the volume.

I believe they are wav files. So the only way to fix them would be to record them at a lower volume. Most of the sound fixes, fix the mpg sounds.....Things like music and so on.

Did you install it correctly? I am using Quieter UI sounds and it works without problems.

I think Piratelord's Enhanced Sounds does this too. IIRC it does it by changing the settings for the sound effect in the .esp file, not by directly altering the sound files.

I got this problem on one of my laptops aswell. I never got a solution, neither I think there is any. It could be something with the "guts" of the pc. :)
