Any mods that make robes worth using for magic users?

I was wondering if any mods made it worthwhile for a mage to wear a robe? I often find myself wearing armor for increased damage protection which is OK for a battlemage I suppose but I was wondering if there was anything that made robes especially useful.

Well, there's my mod Fizzle... which makes not wearing a robe rather painful. :)

Interesting, I may take a look at that.

I highly recommend this little bit of awesome; http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18875 and it's OOO patch http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20728. Since this mod replaces a large number of Oscuro items, you should use BAIN install for ease of book keeping. The leveled lists all work (so far as I can tell). However, this mod does not play nicely with Cyrodiil NPC Remodeling Project, which also replaces or usurps a bunch of OOO stuff. Really, this mod is the best loot for magic users that I have ever found.

Edit 1: ME also replaces the robes of Mannimarco. If using Mannimarco Revisited, you'll have to decide which mod has priority.

OOO also makes wearing robes worthwhile as it ups the spell efficiency penalty for wearing armor. Plus it has a couple of robes that are really worthwhile, i.e. have enchantments that are much better than the PC can make by enchanting them.
