Any mods that ramp up creature agressiveness?

Post » Fri Apr 09, 2010 9:01 pm

It seems that the creatures in morrowind aren't aggressive enough towards me. I don't know if that's cause I'm a higher level or what. I am using morrowind advanced but that doesn't seem to change how fast they agro me.

Maybe you could be more specific. Is it only certain creatures or all of them? Do they completely ignore you or do they just take their time before attacking? Any similar problems with npcs? Also, post your mod list. I know the Creatures mod makes it so that after you kill a certain number of cliff racers and foragers they are less prone to attack. There might be other such mods that people can pick out of your list.

its only some creatures and most NPcs that take a while to attack. I wont even take the advantage anymore.

here's my mod list if it helps

I'd suggest it's perhaps your personality attribute and fame rating?
I've found once the former is over 65 low level daedra (and even MCA npc's) have a tendency not to attack.

I may be wrong but I think the MCP has an option that allows stealing from KOed NPCs, that can cause an unintentional delay in hostile NPCs attacking. Sometimes you can even start a dialogue with them.

I agree, try turning off stealing from KOed NPCs. It may have side effects, so hard to tell with the coding in Morrowind.

Edit: Did a code review and this option is very unlikely to be causing the situation, it only executes when you try to activate something.

maybe you should go into the options menu and increase the ai distance. so they have more time to react to you and so when you get close enough it will seem like a quicker reaction. also there are several 'improved daedra' mods out there that really ramp up the stats of those monsters. and another mods that makes hungers insanely powerful. and all over outside at night. they will wipe the floor with you. these can be found on PES and telephoros mod lists.

also if those mods you have listed are in the correct load order. you need to move your level list merging mod to last to load. or else where are all the birds going. which if i remember correctly reduces cliffracers, and i am not sure but i think it tones down some of the other encounters too, will rule your load order. and that is all you will get for most creature encounters outside.
