Any more news on Graphics?

So is splash damage planning on giving us more options to downgrade our video settings for better performance on midranged gaming pc's or do we just have to suffer with low fps on higher graphics? :/?

I'm just confused why a game that's graphics seem to be less than fantastic runs like crap!!! I'm not complaining about the graphics, just that there are many games with way better graphics running at 4x the frames per second than this game. It baffles me.

I managed to get it to run around 30 ish FPS by setting everything by to default and setting resolution to the smallest possible on 4:3 lol. Which is like 640 x something. I hope they allow more editing to their graphics so I don't have to put up with tiny screen so real,

Seriously. Just about every PC game I own has the option to downgrade the graphics. I can't even open the damn thing.

Well the good news is that splash damage has always been great in support and we should be seeing fixes for the problems. It just svcks that it got released with these issues. It could be worse. EA always releases great games 6 months early and then drops the game support when there are still major bugs.

Same with Black Ops. Graphics don't look impressive either and it runs like *youknowwhat*. Even after several patches. Meanwhile I've given up on this *andagainyouknowwhat*. Phenom II X6 1100T with a Radeon 6900 and the game runs so slow no matter what settings I use. If things won't change soon Brink will end up as a dust-catcher.

ROFL.

They need to optimize the game and not giving us more options to make the graphics even worse.

They have to make the graphics better,so that brink looks like the game they have shown in their trailers while optimizing it at the same time.

Yeah guys, this engine svcks...I get like 16pfs sometimes, then it jumps to 60, then 20, its totaly [censored] up, and I have a computer that runs Crysis 2 on very high with 60 fps or more all the time (Q8200, 4gb ram, HD 6870), if you doesnt fix this SD, I will never buy a game from you again and if this turns to be a problem from ATI drivers and is not fixed...well this will be my last ATI gpu......I had a 9800 GT and never had such a problem with any game...too bad i didnt get a 570

for further "options" you need to access the console... read http://www.fragworld.org/frag/brink/brink-pc-tweak-guide.html

by disabling shadows i could double my fps, running @ 70 FPS right now
