Any new houses or places to store goods in HH

Post » Tue Aug 10, 2010 3:50 am

Is there any new houses or storage facilities in HH. I am on PS3 so I can't get HH yet I am just wondering if anyone has tested any of the locations in HH to see if they can store equipment for longer than three or four days.

I need a storage place or a vacation home in HH. Any one tested any homes and containers in HH to see if they can be used as a base of operation in Zion

The containers in the General Store also work, as do the desks in the office behind it. In fact, interior containers in general are safe, although there is a slight risk of trash cans renewing their contents once regardless of location. Mailboxes also exhibit this behavior, so if you wish to make sure one of either is safe, perform the following steps in order:

1) Empty all contents of the container in question.
2) Go to a different cell and wait one refresh cycle (73 game hours).
3) Return to the container's cell and remove anything that appeared.

From this point on that trashcan/mailbox is guaranteed safe.

I set up my base at Stone Bones Cave, though I used the three duffel bags near the Southern Passage for junk storage.
If you haven't found it yet, Stone Bones is in that maze of caves, cliffs and bridges above the Sorrow's camp. It has two entrances; when you fast travel to it, jog to the left and hop over the gap and you'll see the second, better entrance.
This is one of Clark's caves; it has a campfire, reloading bench and workbench, plus containers dedicated to them right there. Also, lots of storage and a bed.
First time in, watch for traps.
