It depends on what your definition of metal and rock is.

I seriously hope you kids don't do this.

Don't see how this is Skyirm related though.

This is not a "Find the music that Makkura personally likes and post it so he'll be impressed and call us cool" thread. Wrong thread, friend.

There's lots of music that I don't like that I can at least respect for having music theory supporting it while maintaining audible quality.

And this isn't a "ShadowWarrior doesn't like a comment in a thread so he shouldn't have to see it so cater to me" thread either. Baby.

How was that my own medicine? Apparently you don't understand the cliche you decided to throw out.

I'd suggest you learn the language you're using, and perhaps a thing or two about music. There's nothing wrong with educating yourself about a subject you like to delve into constantly.

ok so wether you're driving to gamestop, or waiting for your game to arrive (the day it's going to arrive)
will you dance to trance/ rave music?

Never have any other time, so.... no.

If I even bothered to pick something special, it'd probably be the Oblivion soundtrack.

But it'll probably just be one of the random CD's I've got in the car. (Within Temptation, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco, Tara Maclean, Loreena McKennitt, Hole, BOA.....)

You made it out to seem as this thread is about you and your opinion of other people's personal opinions about music, when its clearly not. I pointed that out to you. You then retorted by giving your own response to say this thread is not about me and my personal opinion about your post. So yeah, if you can't make the connection, don't worry about it.

My language is fine, and I know a lot about music. I've taken more than one music appreciation class, can play an instrument, and I'm a vocalist who gets paid to sing at venues. Don't make assumptions that are unfounded.

Except I didn't make the thread to be about me at all, but rather about the awful decisions/tastes of others. You took this as a projection as if I was some pompous, conceited person who thought the thread had to be about me, and leaped with your assumption. I retorted, and in addition gave you the exact same format of your fallacious and laughable post in rebuttal to show you hopefully the error of your post. So if anything that would be a "taste of your own medicine."

I don't see how you can fail to get the context wrong twice. At any rate, saying what you've done has little to no meaning. What matters is what you can prove. All you've proven to me is yet again you fail to understand the English language, and if anything that makes your claims even less credible. Don't bother responding, you're only going to make yourself look silly and I won't bother replying.

Really? You did not just call most of everyone's music here "garbage"? If I somehow misunderstood that post, then I'm mature enough to apologize. Please clarify.

I"m not criticizing his opinion. I'm criticizing him writing it off as if its fact. Stuff like that happens in forums. And why is it that you care about what I, someone you don't know, thinks?
