any one with the ability to safely reformat can do a thing 4

me?

i keep getting bombarded by emails from something called "deadfake.com" always about hacking me i cant afford to reformat my computer nor do i have the software or installation disc to do it my self

so im wondering if some one who does has these abilities (hopefully the cheaper option or a throwaway computer that they test stuff on) could maybe check the website out for me

i am advising that if you cant afford to or dont want to end up reformating your PC dont test the site because i honestly have no idea how safe or unsafe it is

im just curious on if im actually being hacked or if some one just found an exploit in hotmail and people are useing it to screw with me legitamtely .-.

You want someone to test a potentially virus-ridden site and potentially have to reformat their computer for you?

Just google the website and see if anyone else has gotten dodgy emails from them. Add them to your spam filter and do a virus scan.

Over the years I've come to learn that you're a very gullible and naive person, so it doesn't really surprise me that this happens to you. I'm not risking the safety of my computer to visit some dodgy site that likes to spam Epic Fail's hotmail account.

Dumb threads keep showing up on the forums, will reformatting my PC fix this problem?

deadfake.com is a service that allows people to play pranks by sending you fake e-mails anonymously. My guess is someone with your Hotmail address is playing games with you. Just delete the e-mails, and whatever you do, do NOT click on any links or attachments they may contain.

so.. you want someone else to risk an infection on their machine.. and possibly any other machines currently attached to their router (in my case, being 5 machines), to satisfy your curiosity...?

I did a whois search and got a name and address; unsure if it's the actual owner's address and name (and doubting it may be). And yeah. Check among your friends to see who's playing a prank on you, and I'm unsure how Hotmail works, but try creating a rule to block deadfake e-mails from coming in or keep reporting them as spam if Hotmail tends to learn that way.

And also see about having your computer checked out for infections. There's no need to reinstall Windows for what is likely just a simple infection, if even. That'd be like lighting your house on fire to kill a bedbug.
