To any PURE MAGES what is your magicka regen. rate? : V

I'm planning out a pure mage and just want to know;

-At you optimal level what is your magicka regeneration rate?
-What equipment/enchants/perks are you using to get this rate?
-Is it effective to your magic needs and magicka points.

If you could answer these i would be thankful.

At the moment my mage sits at enough regeneration so that in the time it takes to charge another chain lightning, my magicka is full again. I'm not sure exactly how much this is, but most of my gear has regen enchants on it (100 enchanting with perks).

I don't know the exact number but it's pretty fast for my mage character.

That reminds me of an effect you can get from a miscellaneous College quest.

Where Drevis asks you to clean the magic wells, you can get the Fortify Magicka +100 from one of the wells and rather than giving you additional magicka, you get crazy fast regen from it

Yes, this is where I got the idea for the regen enchants from. That quest was crazy fun, except my companion died more than once as a victim to my... enthusiasm.

Question from another mage (34 on Master difficulty, so it's going kinda slowly and I'm not as experienced), is magicka regeneration a truly viable stat? I heard it was much more effective to enchant items to give you -100% cost on your primary magicka schools and use whatever magicka pool you have for the other schools.

No additional Mana regen
100 enchant, My gear reduces 2 spell schools by 100% (Destruction and Conjuration)
Yes, since spells cost 0, there is no mana problem, I can spam dual casting, stun locking, destruction spells all day long....

Every level-up choice was put in life... there are alot of +mana items in the winter of college quests to let you get by early on while you make the best -% items possible,
