Doubt there will be any kind of multiplayer. Trying to completely synchronize the game world between two players, which includes the location of every fired arrow, every dropped coin, and every NPC plus their schedules, is going to be very difficult. There would also need to be some way to keep the players fairly close, or the game needs to process two completely different areas at once. And considering that Bethsda is primarily a single player game developer, I doubt they have anyone with real networking experience.
