You know what I like most in this one? That it shows how Crysis was enhanced by Modding community.

To achieve something like this:
Image

and by the time it shows how Crysis 2 won't go the same path. There might be some improvements here and there, like thanks to porting Crysis 1 textures into sequel (lol for that), but it won't ever be twice as good.

Hopefully other CryEngine 3 games will try to match Crysis 1 quality. IF there will be any other games with this engine.

Wow OP has 0 knowledge of history! The reason for the drop after Roman times was because of the barbarians who took down Rome not Christianity. Please before you post something at least have the knowledge to know what time came when.

I do agree with the console graph tho.

Again you still dont know your history. Flat earth theory was WAY before the dark ages and Galileo came AFTER the dark ages. Galileo came during the middle of the Renaissance.

The so called barbarians were actually ahead in everything and thats why they took down the, by then, christian Rome. Rome were stuck in religious dogma and the "barbarians" from the east had embraced all the knowledge from earlier civilizations like Greece. Any other history is just rewritten leftovers from that religous dogma.

LOL. When the barbarians took down Rome they did it in numbers not tech. Rome was the most advanced civilization there was in the day. When they took down Rome they destroyed all the documents for doing such things as architecture, technology, and government, just to name three.

which lead to the dark ages back to the passed situation.

You forgot to read my EULA :)
It all comes down to what history you read. there's a lot of diffrent versions out there...
I like how this thread took a 90 degree turn into something completely diffrent. Gives one something to do while Crytek sits on their hands.

Edit/
I'm in another era. I'm thinking about when the Eastern Roman Empire fell...my bad :)

there is only one type of history dude. there are variations of it but i go by what 99% of historians and archaeologists go by. The timeline is not going to change, and if you look at archaeologist findings it fits what i said to the "T."

Also FYI "religious dogma" is redundant.

EDIT: I SAW YOUR EDIT :)

Yea but thing is, that mostly religion is the main reason why we dont advance in bio-science (stem cell research etc).
