sorry about the multiple links, I did a search on the site for Darjeeling, and tried to copy & paste the link, which just went to their home page without the search results.

It has an aromatic lemon-like flavour and it relaxes the nervous system aswell as other good effects

sounds like something I need,I'll give it a try, thanks!

mental image: one female chimp to another: "ALL I did was ask Hairy if he worked out, and then gently squeezed his bicep and his Miss Pri-mate flings POO at me!"

Ahmad English Breakfast Blend, with some milk and a spoon of honey. Currently drinking Twining's Earl Gray, though, cause we're out of the Breakfast blend.

I pretty much just stick with Earl Grey, hot. 99 times out of 100, I put nothing in it.

Hard-core, eh?

I like it with a bit of milk and sugar.

I like green, white, black, fermented, unfermented, and herbal tisanes,
The only tea I dislike is Lapsang Souchu.
I have so much damn tea in the cabinet at homeI haven't bought any recently because it needs to be drunk.
Right now, I am drinking Madascar Red Vanilla Roobius Celestial Seasonings "tea". It's a tisane.
I also have some very lovely hibiscus "tea "in my purse, I plan to brew this afternoon after school.
My favorite black tea is Assam. Geen: oolong, and tisane: either hhmmmmmm, mint or jasmine.

The tea needs to be drunk in order for you to buy it? That poses a bit of a problem... :P

Does anyone else like to add a bit of rum in their cup of tea? My usual teacup consists of, well, tea, three to four small spoons of sugar, a bit of rum and a bit of milk. YUMMEH!

Other than that, tons of green tea.

ok, thanks! I'll look around. are the names like a brand name? or a specific kind of tea? if the latter, what kind? sorry, im all interested now...

Yes, they're brand names. There's several different varieties of PG Tips available in the UK (bagged, loose leaf, green, etc.), but what you can get abroad usually depends on what they export...the pyramid bags are what's available here, and also happens to be my personal preference.

Not sure about Typhoo. Maybe Rohugh can come dispense some wisdom on that front. ;)

Hmm. In my experience, second flush Darjeeling has a much stronger, more bitter flavor than the first flush, which tends to be lighter (both in color and taste). I prefer first flush myself; second is just a little too bitter. Darjeeling in general is more musky and floral than the typical black tea. I'm not sure how a blend would be.

Another Earl Grey drinker here, but I like it very sweet (lots of sugar) and without milk.

That's like adding "white" to it, and "rap" it up in a package. A bad idea, totally.

I will drink virtually any kind of tea that is offered. I am like the Black Hole of Tea.
However, I will not touch those godawful 'dessert teas'. You know the ones; the kinds with flavors like 'toffee' or fake vanilla. They are an atrocity, sir; I will not have it. (Also Lapsang Souchong, but that is because I do not like drinking charcoal.)

There are a handful of teas I do favor over others, though. Most of them are black, rather than green, though I have stumbled across some very nice varieties in regards to the latter.
If you are going to drink green tea, I'd suggest going for the 'pearl' varieties- the leaves are kept intact, and slowly unfurl after you plunge them in boiling water. You have to be careful not to let them steep too long, however, or your tea's just going to taste like grass.
And if you put anything in it, so help me, I'm going to smack you.

In regards to black tea, my three favorites are:

-Prince of Wales
-Constant Comment (basically, black tea with orange zest)
-Rose Black (loose black tea with dried rose petals in. It's incredibly aromatic, and the flavor is surprisingly delicate.)

No idea, sorry. http://www.ahmadtea.com/tea_menu/speciality_black.html doesn't say what countries the teas come from, and I don't have the tin on hand (since I'm at school). I think it might have some earl gray in it.

ok, thanks a lot! I don't really like bitter teas either, so I'll probably go with one that's not "second flushed".

sorry everyone, i would reply to each comment posted since I was on last, but I'm outside a Starbucks and using their "hot-spot"(on an iPhone) so I hope you all understand when I say that I'm kinda busy.... I will be back though!

Twinnings apple, cinnamon and raisin. Lipton pyramid gunpowder green tea, lipton pyramid indian chai, twinnings four red fruits. Those are some of my favourites.

Orange, lemon, craneberry, forest fruits, blackberry, raspberry, mulberry and strawberry it doesn't matter too much to me I love them all.

I usually have anywhere between 10 and 20 cups of tea aday, I'm severely addicted. I don't know if the caffeine in it is the reason, I just love the feeling of having a steaming warm cup of tea in front of me, smelling the wonderful flavour until it cools down enough to drink. And then I get all warm inside when I drink it :)

First thing I do when I get up in the morning is put on my socks, then I go put the tea water on. I drink tea before meals, during meals, after meals, I even drink tea when I have deserts (unless it's icecream 'cause that hurts my teeth).

I don't use sugar, I use a sugar replacement called natreen, doesn't have any calories, carbohydrates or fat :)

I love tea.

Just black tea, like English Breakfast (with a bit of milk). favorite brands are Twinings and Ahmad.
It isn't tea to me if it doesn't have leaf from an actual tea plant.
I don't really like the bergamot flavour either.
