Any Tea Drinkers?

I like green, white, black, fermented, unfermented, and herbal tisanes,
Madagascar Red Vanilla Roobius Celestial Seasonings "tea". It's a tisane.

Ooh, I like the sound of that one...

No idea, sorry. http://www.ahmadtea.com/tea_menu/speciality_black.html doesn't say what countries the teas come from, and I don't have the tin on hand (since I'm at school). I think it might have some earl gray in it.

ok, thanks anyway! if you do find out what's in it, please post it.

Also Lapsang Souchong, but that is because I do not like drinking charcoal

I keep seeing this in the thread. is it that bad? everyone seems to hate it, lol.

And if you put anything in it, so help me, I'm going to smack you.

LMAO, noted....
-Prince of Wales
-Constant Comment (basically, black tea with orange zest)
-Rose Black (loose black tea with dried rose petals in. It's incredibly aromatic, and the flavor is surprisingly delicate.)

I'll give these a try, thanks!

Twinnings apple, cinnamon and raisin. Lipton pyramid gunpowder green tea, lipton pyramid indian chai, twinnings four red fruits. Those are some of my favourites.

I've been meaning to try a "gunpowder" green tea. any good?

I love tea.

me too, but not as much as you! :)

Actually, you can buy the bags, either one cup size, or pot sized, and steep it yourself and then add sugar and ice. (or even make sun tea with it) ;) Very good on a hot summer day.

Yup. I buy my tea from one http://www.dammann.fr/produits.php, which have tons of sort, and does crazy good blends.

Have four sorts running now - peppermint gunpowder ; two black tea blends with bits of fruits and flower petals, and Lapsang Souchong. Tea strainer, water at the exact temp, the whole deal.

Mind you, I also have four different ways to make coffee, which I drink by the bucket. -_-

I really like Lipton sweet tea. But I can only drink it for a little while before I get sick of it. I'd drink it for about 2-3 days straight and then not drink it again for a week or so. I'm drinking Snapple peach ice tea now, apparently its made with green and black tea leaves  whatever, its yummy
EDIT: no it's not lipton sweet tea I like, I can't think of what brand it is, TradeWind is one of them but not my favorite

you are the first I've seen to say they actually like this "Lapsang Souchong". how's the gunpowder tea? I've been meaning to try one of those...

do you mean the same kind of tea they make theirs from? I know you can make your own with almost any kind of tea (I've even seen some that are strictly for making Iced Tea), but I was unaware they sold it bagged so you could make it from scratch (well, almost).

Yes ma'am, that's exactly what I do. I hate instant - I boil a small pan of water, take it off the heat and drop the bags (four or five large "iced tea" sized) in for a few minutes to steep. Then transfer to a pitcher and add enough cold water to fill it up. I'm drinking a glass right now! :)

I guess, Jeffredo explained it a little more in detail, but Lipton also makes an instant iced tea mix that you just add cold water (or hot water if you want a cup of hot tea) to, and ice and sugar if you like sugar in your tea.

http://www.liptont.com/our_products/tea_mix/mix_unsweet.aspx is the unsweetened instant I like.

Bag one cup size: http://www.liptont.com/our_products/black_tea/blk_hot_tea.aspx

Pitcher size (the bags are way bigger than cup size to make it easier to make a pitcher of iced tea) http://www.liptont.com/our_products/black_tea/blk_pitcher_size.aspx

The instant is no steeping, the others, of course, are. :)

I normally drink Green tea myself. Recently TeeHee suggested I try a black tea with some sugar and milk and I found that to be quite agreeable.

Man, I know nothing about tea. I didn't even realise there were so mant flavours. If I'm in the mood for tea, I just have the Choysa mum drinks, whether or not that's a certain flavour or what, I have no idea. If I want a herbal tea, all we have is, again, cheap, lame stuff that literally all tastes the same. Raspberry and echinacea? Lemon? Green? Pretty much identical. Anything else is too expensive. I'd probably drink more tea if it had a stronger flavour, maybe it's just that all the stuff we get is too cheap but I find none of it is flavourful enough for me. So I stick with coffee.

At my old work once, someone came in and asked for an Earl Grey. We had none, so I was instructed to just "give them English Breakfast, they won't know the difference." I wonder now, if they were thoroughly unimpressed.

I drink tea quite often. My usual and favorite is a good strong black tea like PG Tips, with milk and sugar. I have it down to nearly a science the way I time brewing and measuring, but it's perfect every time. Consistency is the name of the game.

My second favorite is ginger tea. What I buy claims it's 100% ginger root, and I have to brew it for about 14 minutes to get a good flavor, but it's very nice. A warm spicy flavor that hits the spot when I don't want caffeine.

Then I have this Yogi Tea brand for stomach ease. It's got a powerful flavor. Not exactly tea either, but full of licorice and fennel and all sorts of other things. It smells like an Indian spice market, and tastes like an Indian's armpit, but it works magic on the stomach. I tried another kind of Yogi Tea, antioxidant mix, but it tasted like fruit loops so I kind of gave it up. :P

I have a lot of Labrador tea that grows wild in my woods. I pick it and dry it for having a hot cup of tea now and then. I also have wild camomile which grows wild and use it sometimes. I haven't bought any tea in years. It's very good with a bit of honey. My neighbor has honey bees and supplies me with plenty of fresh fireweed honey.

well, if I ever have a bad stomach ache that won't go away or I feel a desire to taste an Indian's armpit, I'll give that a go, lol.

haha, probably, if they drink Earl Grey a lot they would definetly notice the difference, but they might've thought that it was just a weird blend or something.

Mmmm. Sounds yummie!
A good friend here has bees. I print his labels, in trade for a couple of jars (of honey) every year....we have to settle for plain clover and whatever else, tho'.
Forget! putting it in tea, (I have) but...
I turn it up raw and let it coat the throat all the way down!

*not going to change the subject, please continue......*

Tea...yes....on my 4th or 5th cup.
