So I'm putting together my main buildingcommunity center in Sanctury and found that the roofs leak. So any of them not leak??

I've found a way to add flat roof pieces under raised roof pieces - not sure if it's a glitch or if we're supposed to double-stack roofs to stop rain. Also don't know if a leaky roof affects Happiness - I know Settlers don't like getting rained on.

As far as I know all roofs (and any other solid objects) do not stop rain. that has actually been an issue as far back as I remember. In Morrowind, some guy made a mod that kept rain from passing through collision, and it was beautiful to stand dry inside a tent and watch the rain fall outside. I have no idea why Beth doesn't incorporate something like that in its games, but if its Bethesda, the only way out of the rain is to go to an interior cell.

Wait that's not entirely the case, the rain still gets through but not at full force. Pre War homes stop rain.

Some Roof Pieces seem better than others.

Multi-floored buildings the 1st floor seems to not get rain.

All I can say is that hasn't been my experience so far. The only way I've ever stayed dry is going into an interior cell through a loading screen, and being wet everywhere else. Perhaps there is some place in Diamond City that stays dry? I haven't been there yet...

I use the shacks 2nd floor tiles for roofs and they do not leak. They're not as interesting looking though so I vary it regular roof tile on the more noticeable edge

The metal roof doesn't leak for me :/
