Does anyone have any thoughts on possible races, ie Human, Ghoul, Super Mutant, Flying Purple People Eater, ect. Also how they might be implemented?

Haven't heard though if I had to guess we'll just be getting different humans.

Ghoul would be a neat race to indulge in, due to the implications of it. Although, it may only serve as an unintentional allegory for civil rights, at its best. At worst, it would just be a different texture for the PC, with no real change in gameplay.

well considering the teams track history (see, Argonian) my guess would be my guess is it would be somewhere in the middle leaning closer to the latter side.

Well consider the strong implications that we are another vault dweller in this game it kinda limit us to human.

I'd like the option to be white, black, Hispanic, or Asian, like in prior games. Anything else, Native American, for instance, would be welcome.

If the main protagonist is, in fact, a dog, I'll accept that as well. So long as we get a nice diversity of breed options.

As for actual other races like ghouls, super mutants, ?androids?, trogs, etc... No, I would rather those not be playable.

Yea i thought about that, but if it is a cryofreeze, then who is to say the there wasn't a radiation leak that your char was exposed to for idk say 200 years.

They might be better served by just having an "ethnicity" slider that doesn't explicitly name any of the ethnicities, but it's not extremely important. I wouldn't count on being able to play as a Ghoul or Super Mutant; that would really mess with the radiation mechanics and character interactions (the latter especially for Muties).

And with that said, if there is a leak that means exposer to the FEV in trace amounts so all sorts of things can happen.

Doubt that, as much as fans want to go conspiracy nut over it, I doubt that the trailers flash back and forth is anything else but a artistic take on "gasp, the horrors of nuclear war", I suspect that just like 3, we will play a person born and raised in the vault who for one reason or another leaves it.
