Any time, Crytek....

Hi guys,

Just so you're aware we're constantly working on the site and this is a huge priority for us as we consider our community extremely important. Right now most of the work is going into making sure everything is running smoothly and as it should be, then we'll start looking to add further improvements.
Well, Enfadel, since your new to forums, I can tell you this is not how a normal forum is. Look up on your browser www.incrysis.com . That is a normal forum.
I, personally prefer this forum because it has pictures and animations or, as some would call it, more "eye-candy".
The old one was not very Crysis either but this one is designed to look like it's on the suit instead of being just another boring webpage.
I kind of miss the old forum :(
I miss Crytek christmas and easter

I miss Cry-mod posting (the person not the site) and otaku and eddy and us all having laughing good times full of mirth and cheer.

This new site is sterile and it makes me miss the cozy confines of our old home. Everything feels disconnected and impersonal. We're not a family anymore, we're having an awkward get together with distant relatives and friends we never see. I miss joking around with staff. I miss playing games of L4D with Crytek employees and forum mates. I miss the fun, I miss the personality and I miss the comfort of it all, the comfort of a home.

I just want to go home Crytek, I just want to go home.
Same here, this new site is just awful .

I hope they come soon Tom. Most times that I bother visiting this place now I just pay a quick visit to the news section (once or twice per week) and then leave again quickly if there's nothing new to see, as frankly the site is just painful to look at and to navigate around now. That's not the reaction that the old site used to give me.

I never thought that a bad site redesign would actually make me feel less excited about a game, but it certainly seems to be working that way.
Well, isn't it becoming obvious? This site was made to look good on TV's, not computers. Crytek is aiming everything they have at consoles. PC's are an afterthought. I would say Crytek is now 4/5th console, 1/5 PC company.
Are you under the impression that all PC gamers still use a 17" monitor? I have to be honest, my rig is wired in to my 42" LCD 1080p set and looks fine, :D

Thanks for responding. I hope the functionality improves quite a bit soon, as it truly is painful to use this website right now. :(
