Any tips on finding screws?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 8:00 am

Hi all.

I've been playing for a few hours now and have collected quite a large amount of junk. I do, however, seem to have a severe shortage of screws and you seem to need them for most mods. At the moment I am trying to loot as many weapons as I can, but with all the stuff I'm lugging around I can't fit many of these. Have any of you found a more efficient way to collect screws?

Thanks in advance.

If you don't have it already, take the Scrapper perk before scrapping weapons or armor ;)

That was one of the first perks I got since I knew that I would be crafting quite a bit.

During E3 Todd Howard said there were prewar mechanical toy horses called Giddyup Buttercups scattered around the world that could be scrapped for a lot of screws.

Collect Toycars and handcuffs. Pretty sure they have some screws. I've basically said f%^$^k it with not allowing myself to carry a bunch of junk. but the way the game is set up, you have to hoard all the junk and bring it back to home base if you want to make good weapon/armor mods.
