Got to admit I'm a bit of a stealth n00b, stealth enhance makes things too easy but want to try and upgrade my other perks particularly visor enhance to nano vision upgrade as well as push my armour up to level 12.

However when playing with just armour I always end up getting owned either from someone shooting the other end of the map or people in stealth. The fact that armour lights up makes me an illuminating target, as well as the fact when your shot you still move like you've crapped your pants makes it hard to get used to.

Any tips to avoid getting owned with armour mode? Particularly off some 1337 players who only use armour mode?

Being all the time in armor mode is not good (IMO) because it makes you more visible and very slow. I like the speed xP

Stick to the more linear parts of the map that are less open, if you only have to be worried by attacks mainly from infront and behind, there is less of an issue and hopefully you are listening for footsteps from behind. Certain choke points are great for armour mode as you can get ganked from less directions.

I've noticed that good non-stealth players, tend to stick to cover a lot more . I'm a bit of stealth-ho.

Run around and slide a lot, turn on armour mode when you're in combat or if you're going around a corner. Nano recharge lvl2 helps too
