I have never played this game before and have heard that it is the best of the bunch. I have recently bought it and was wondering if you guys have any tips for me before I start playing?

I would be looking to go with a Axe/Sheild type of character with a little of magic knowlege (more defensive spells that offensive). I favourite race is Nord and again I will probably be going to pick this race for my playthrough.
