One of my favorite delights of the Fallout series is stumbling upon unique weapons like The Wazer Wifle, the Board Of Education or some unique variant of whatever weapon I'm using. I'm really hoping that Experimental MIRV Fatman Launcher makes a return this time around. I had tons of fun causing havoc in Megaton with that weapon.

I just hope the unique weapons actually look unique like they did in New Vegas, unlike 3 which just reworded weapons.

This. As long as they actually look unique to match their stats, I'm happy. I'd love it if special attacks came over from New Vegas. In that case I'd love a single action revolver that you could fan the hammer for rapid fire.

Lol, I remember running around using the Board Of Education yelling 'you gonna learn today!' whenever I bashed someone's head in. I'd like to see some sort of gun where the bullets curve around corners or something or a shotgun where the bullets spread out like aerosol spray.

I had way too much fun with the Railway gun or whatever it was called (not that it was unique). I loved the sound it made! Amusingly destructive.

Honestly....

....I am more looking forward if I can craft armors and weapons this time around. Searching for scraps or "blue prints", that can give me the knowledge to craft armor and weapons? I'm down for that.

All I want is a badass unique sniper capable of blowing heads off for days.

honestly I hope revolvers in general still gets lots of love in 4, I love doing a cowboy gunslinger run in New Vegas.

Previous game guns i want to see again : Vengeance, vindicator, ranger seqouia (more powerful version), bozar, emp pistol.

New guns:

-a gun that freezes enemies solid.

- a tracter beam lazer weapon

- A gun that corrodes armor and flesh. And behaves and lookes like a flamethrower. Spraying off corrosive gass.

- A close ranged melee weapon or gun that launches people sky high. (perhaps a super charges powerfist that looks like a platinum boxing glove or sonic boom cannon)


Thinking of some more now.






I would like to see rare weapon mods also, not just weapons.

its better than most of the boring vanilla guns with minor stat changes that some people call "unique weapons".

NV unique weapons were awesome. I hope they keep all the old ones and add a few new ones as well. In addition to upgrading armor and weapons, with visible mods so you get new looks of your upgraded armor along the way. I think crafting will play a bigger role for sure.

What I'm really hoping for is that cooking/potion crafting is going to be more of a necessity. I never felt like I HAD to make poisons, antidotes etc., in order to survive. A wilder wasteland that really triggers your survival instinct would be sweet. But that's off topic, sorry =)
