Any way to install Oblivion mods into Fallout and vice versa

Barring the blatant disregard for the lore of both games, they are made by the same company, and seem to be of a similar game engine. Is it possible to essentially import things from one game and put them in the other?

Aye, your not allowed to share assets between games...which is bull IMO.

Hence the whole "Morrowblivion" controversy, or w/e it was called.

Assuming the use 100% custom content, and the modder whom made the mod allows us to use it, people are allowed to convert things from oblivion. The first thing on my "Someone hurry up and convert this mod" list is the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5198 mod, because we need our monocles.

I'm not sure Oblivions engine supports weapons like Fallouts, I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I don't think Oblivion can have guns either.

If a person doesn't own Oblivion, but they do own Fallout 3, and someone gives away Oblivion assets in a mod for Fallout, then they're basically giving away things that aren't theirs. Now, if there was a mod that somehow gave the infrastructure but not the assets (meaning you had to own both games), I don't know how there would be a problem.

Your still sharing assets between games, and the actual sharing of assets or providing a means to do so is 100% illegal. End of story.

Sufficiently answered, closed before there is talk we would have to sanction members for.

If you, privately, make a mod that puts Oblivion resources into Fallout 3 or vice versa, nobody is going to break down your door and take it away.

But there are two limitations:

1. You cannot distribute it to anyone. Such a mod does not get a pass under the rule allowing distribution of mods.

2. You cannot use these forums to provide assistance in doing this, or make a program that facilitates doing this. The policy of these forums is that making it possible, or easier, for anybody else to do that is tantamount to distribution, therefore prohibited. That's the "Morroblivion" rule.

And there will be no contention allowed on these forums to the effect that these rules are unreasonable, or that the prohibited activities are legal or permissible, under any theory whatsoever.
