Any way to pass system requirements and play game?

Post » Thu Dec 10, 2015 6:26 pm

I have an old laptop at my work and i wanna give it a try to play FO4.(Lenova ideapad Z560)

After i press PLAY it gives an error and closes the game. I dont care if i will play with 5-15fps all i want is being able to open the game and give it a try.

Is there a way to bypass system check and start game for PCs with all specs lower system requirements?

Min req are: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent; 8GB of RAM; Nvidia 550 Ti/AMD 7870 2GB VRAM.

You old laptop(dualcore Intel Core i3 370M / 2.4 GHz, 4GB Ram, Intel HD Graphics is far below those in all areas and while game can run on less than min requirments yours are simply to far below the min to be even able to run it.

So short answer is no, you are not even able to run it at all.(even if you somehow mng to baypass the check it wont make any difference, your rig simply doesnt have nearly enough power to run it)

Wud suggest trying it out on some other rig if you have it avilable at home/work cuz the game is very enjoyable.

Have you watched the video i posted above?

It's a workaround for those who's using an Intel Graphic adapter. !!!

Just do it exactly as the dude describes - and who knows, it may work. Good Luck. ;)

It can certainly run on some PCs below minimum spec. I've been playing on a laptop below minimum spec since launch.

To my knowledge, there is not a system check comparing your specs with the minimum requirements, but your laptop's actual hardware is simply not able to run the game. You have dual core mobile CPU http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-i5-480M-Notebook-Processor.41730.0.htmland main problem is the very weak graphics card Nvidia 310M. Hopefully at some point we will see some mods to enable the game to run on very low spec PCs, but the 310M might not be able to run the game even then.

Here you can see some benchmarks of various games running with the Lenovo Ideapad Z560's graphics card, Nvidia 310M (scroll to bottom of page): http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-310M.22439.0.html
