Anybody else thoroughly enjoying the Multiplayer

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 11:08 am

Hey everybody, hope you're all having a great day.
So looking through the forums I noticed the majority of it was negative feedback regarding the game's multiplayer. Personally however, I've put 13h into it so far and I'm enjoying it! I mean yes it has its flaws, and living in the middle east I assure you I understand the lag issues - after 13h I've had 2 yellow bar games the remaining being 1 bar.

But for some reason I'm hooked. The game is so versatile and the nanosuit is so unique it adds a new dimension to first person shooters. And for once you develop your own personal playstyle, rather than one bst way of playing a game

Thoughts?

+1

I've found the mp to be a refreshing, fun and generally none frustrating experience when compared to some games i've played recently. Hopefully with the new patch taking care of most of the issues people have been having it will get even better!

Yeah I totally agree
Also to add to your point on frustration I totally agree,
I tend not to get frustrated with the MP, even if I'm not doing great

I can have an attempt, but the solace of a maximum radar will not last if the invincible guy decides to turn around.

I have logged 60+ hours into the multiplayer and I still can't wait to get off work to put a couple more in. I am an addict. I love how different the modules will have you play. I have been maxing out the weapon assessments and am using weapons I was not as comforatable with at first. Don't listen to the feline and scar haters, all wapons are useful under the right tactics. if you are not a fan of sniping but wan't to get the assessments for it. use it enough to unlock the reflex sight. throw on rapid fire or weapons pro and now you have a close range power house. I have had a blast. Hope they fix everybody else's problems so they can enjoy it as much as me.

Beautifully put, dude.

I'm just like you although I only play it on the weekends, unfortunately. It makes me sad to wake up on a Monday and tell Alcatraz goodbye. *sniff*

I'm loving this game. So, there are a few issues, but I'm sure everything will be fixed in due time.

I really do enjoy this game. I think it is a great marriage of science fiction and military shooter. I love the different tactics. Even with the lag that can be really crazy I find myself throwing it in alot. I hope the patch does drop this week that would be amazing.

I wouldn't say completely.

I mean, perks, killstreaks, attachments, gun camos and prestiges are all, inspirations from CoD although this game is a great concept take of it.

have you even read some of the topics on here, and like the guy said this game copy's COD, ok COD is on an old engine, but if this is what happens when you make a game that on a new engine and ends up playing like this then i would rather have an old engine as at least i can say it works.
