Have you noticed anybody doing the speed hack where they walk like 5x faster than they should? I got into a lobby on the map Impact and Downed Bird and there were 2 kids on the other team doing this and constantly meleeing and it was impossible to kill them. I know the GT of one was s1r 0wns alot but I can't remember the other. I thought Crytek was supposed to add some sort of anti-cheating protection to this game? I'm on the 360 by the way.

Think there should be something done about this cheating malarky, also the scoreboards should be cleaned often to get all the people who have silly impossible scores that clearly are cheats, im a genuine player and it would be good if the top 100 on scoreboard were actual legit players, but the legit players would never get near the top of the leaderboard as the cheaters have just ruined it, it seems the same in every game, i just dont see the point in this

Anti-cheat (PunkBuster) is for PC only. The only thing console players can do when they encounter a blatant cheater is to report the cheaters account and leave.

Are you playing multiplayer on PC? I guess not. How can you play that?! For me it says wrong cdkey something!?

If you have the 360 retail version look at the top of the leaderboards. There's a guy with a 62 kill streak already.

Public leaderboards are in most cases meaningless for multiple reasons.

1. You choose your own opponents. You can hop "lobbies" until you find a bunch of bad players and then leech them for stats or simply avoid players who are better than you.
2. It can be abused by cheating, hacking, boosting, etc.
3. Most of the time they simply record who has the most of X which often translates into simply who plays the most. This is why its common to see the same name at the top of multiple leaderboards. Crysis 2 leaderboards are handled in this way. If you find yourself at #1 in Crysis 2s public leaderboards its probably because you play 8 hours a day every day.

The only game ive seen to have leaderboards that were accurate was Warcraft 3.
