With the game taking place in skyrim anyone concerned the other races won't get as much attention compared to nords?

Not concerned. There were a lot of Imperials in Oblivion, but there were plenty of the other races as well.

Not really. I think Bethesda did just fine with the other races in Morrowind and Oblivion compared to the Dunmer and Imperials. I fail to see why Skyrim would be any different.

The nord culture sorta deserves to be seen more, seeing as it's their home and all, but no, I don't fear it'll be too much

Not really, it was the same way in Oblivion, a majority of the people were Imperials.

Having Dunmer culture a major focus in Morrowind worked very well. Very!

i certainly hope so. its skyrim home of the nords not home of all races in equal proportions.

cyrodil was the center of the empire and was surrounded on all sides by its "citizens" so i didnt really have any issues with there being a higher percentage of outside races. its more cosmopolitan and you expect more mixing. skyrim is not cyrodil and the empire has been in decline for over 200 years so i will be disappointed if they an equal mix of all races...........thats just stupid.

at a minimum, half of the npcs should be nords followed by imperials (there used to be lots of soldiers stationed there so like in morrowind they probably settled down afterwards) some orcs since they allied with the nords and there should be very few khajit, argonians, bosmer and altmer. if they go the route they did in new vegas when they made half the NCR soldiers women and make all the races equally represented........... :facepalm:

im not sure what the issue with dumner is cause i read somewhere that the dumner were leaving morrowind because of the argonian invasion and heading to skyrim but that struck me as odd since they the nords tried to invade morrowind. you would think that the dunmer would head to cyrodil instead. maybe somebody knows the answer............if its true that they are fleeing in large numbers to skyrim then i would make the dunmer the third largest group after the nords and imperials.

i think there wont be many argonains,bosmer or high elves. there will be lots of kajit, dumner,.......imperials,bretons and redguards will make up around 30% of the population

No. Its never made any difference before. Dunmer were still called "outlander" in MW.

Yeah, why would we be worried at all they did well in Morrowind and Oblivion with the races. So why would they not do as well with more experiance under their belt at creating their world.

It should be a little more focused on Nordic culture tho because they are in Skyrim, home of the Nords: I mean Vvardefell and Cyradiil reflected Dunmer and Imperial culture well so I expect they will bring Nordic culture to life for us.

Not worried at all, its the Nordic homeland, so the land should be dominated by Nords... but I'm sure there will be plenty of other races about as well. I can't wait to see pictures!!! :whistling:

Nope, it is Skyrim so I assume there will be more Nords but Bethesda will do it right as usual.

I don't think that has ever been a problem in any elder scrolls game.

Nope. Everyone likes a different race. In Morrowind, I favored a Dunmer because I believed the Nerevarine would make more sense if he was a Dunmer, since he was liberating Vvardenfell.

In Oblivion, the Champion of Cyrodiil would make sense as any race, since anyone could technically step up to the plate.

In Skyrim, anyone could have the blood of the Dragonborn in their veins, therefore, any race would make sense.

I think we should be fearfull of the Imperials. I would kill 1000 of them in Oblivion AND Morrowind and they kept coming. Imperials are evil.

I didn't feel like Dark Elves were favored in Morrowind or Imperials were favored in Oblivion, so I wouldn't think that Nords would be favored in Skyrim.

I don't think I really need to add anything at this point. There can be as much as 50% Nords and I'll be fine with it. Just as long as the other races are fairly represented, Why should anyone be disappointed about there being an abundance of Nords in the Nord homeland?
