Anyone else able to get past the forced wall placements?

I hate to sound salty, but this idea of forcing the walls to go only one way is absolute BS, it literally goes one way, and you can't move it up or down, so you then have to deal with the ugly looking elevation issues when the wall is floating 4 ft off the ground.....

Rant aside, i know of the rug glitch, but does anyone know how to get it to work with the small metal walls? http://imgur.com/gallery/WmAo0/newI was hoping to use the same walls that this guy used in his build, but not sure how he got his walls to look good...so does anyone know how to get the rug glitch to work? (i watched a tutorial so far but i have had no luck getting it to work....)

When your looking through your "wood wall" builds there are sever pieces that will say something like "wood end"..they can be turned anyway, Idk if this answers your questions but that is what I use to begin a directional change

Whenever I want to change the angle of the wall. I back off the wall that is already there and line up the angle I want to make. Then I just snap walls from the piece I set till it meets up with the other wall. Hard to explain.
