Is anyone else afraid.

Post » Thu Sep 02, 2010 1:17 am

I am so excitied for this game and am afraid that I won't be able to stop playing. I loved Halo Reach but I probably won't touch it for at least a month. Never have I been so happy at being unemployed. Chances of looking for a job after 10/19... zero.

LOL being a corporate zombie for a soulless store isn't exactly what I would call preductive in society.
At least Tuesday is my day off :D

I don't get that... You can't be an Overpowered super god so the game is broken for you?
Someones complaining about the same thing in another forum that I frequent and It doesn't make sense to me.
You want to be maxed out at everything and have no challenge? Isn't that what cheats and mods are for?

Times like this, I'm glad I dropped first period. What's that? Math class? Nah, I'm at home playing NV.

...must... avoid... moral... condemnation... [expletitive] :stare:

Sorry about that. But, keep your priorities in check people, and show some responsibility. This is a single player game; there's nobody to keep up with, and it will always be here, exactly the same or improved, for the rest of your lives. In other words: get a job and do some maths.

Lets see, I may have to go to Utah next week to fix someone else's mess. Then, the week after I have to go to Texas for training, and the week after that I have to go to Wyoming for even more training. While I will not be gone the entire 3 weeks, it is definantly going to be cutting down on my game time :stare:

...of the Dark? OH!, zombie gaming syndrome (ZGS). Nothing to fear, sooner or later you'll fall asleep, and wake up as a new and refreshed pre-apocalyptic you.

I hated work interfering with both my mental state and my time schedule, so I went freelance. Which basically means I procrastinate until I only have one week left to finish the scripts and thus work through the whole night with my mind completely focused on the job. Which gets stuff that others need a month of daily work for, done in three or four nights. Draining, but after a day of sleep I'm perfectly fit again, get the scripts sent per mail both electronic and anologue, and can go on enjoying my free time.
Doesn't get me huge amounts of money, but I'm very fine with it keeping my spirit and happy play time intact. So it's New Vegas for me, and scripts in early November. ^_^

I have 2 midterms on 10/20 so I don't have much of a choice of whether I can stop playing it or not. I will probably only play the intro and then study for 4 hours.

I'm not taking off from college or work. However, I will still have plenty of time to play. It's called time management.
