Anyone else bored?

Post » Sun Mar 16, 2014 2:55 pm

I've just been bored of the beta lately and don't feel like playing. I think it might be because I have to play with medium graphics and there's no one to play with that I know. Those are just some factors but, I don't know, I've just been bored of it. Anyone else think the same?

Sadly to say but same here.

Why they make this like RIFT 2 ???????

Tried 4 characters until I find one playable.

And this is far from Skyrims addictivness.

I try now if I can chaqnge my oppinnion.

And I WAITED this game. Planetside still works time to time after more than a year or two playing. Have 6 characters in Planetside. Why this is not working? Has same problem than Rift - lore is not working?

And no moneyback is needed . I will not buy it at this time.

Rift - Diablo - ESO - perhaps I am in different kind of player but why I love skyrim?

I've been playing the beta every weekend since I got in, on and off mostly thanks to also having work, and I can safely say that I'm also a bit bored. When your old characters got deleted, and you had to start over, that was boring but at least I figured it was a good way to try out making new characters of different classes and in other factions. But now, I just can't be bothered to play much now that my Dark Elf from last time is playable again.

I have been less inclined to play since it's the last beta, and this character will just be deleted before the final release, so not much sense in grinding like crazy, but even still, that doesn't bode will for the game itself. I myself have only one other friend in the beta, so maybe once the community is up in full, it will be much more fun. I don't want to judge this game before it's 100% ready, but I still am struggling to have a lot of hope for it. Just gotta wait and see.

Not in the lest bit. They've got lots to fix but I am thoroughly enjoying the hell out of this experience.

Mixed feelings. The main reason I'm not very thrilled to play at the moment is the knowledge that my character's going to be deleted anyway. Otherwise I could see myself enjoying this game for a while.

Lag and horrible animations in combat destroy my feelings about the game. I really don't understand why the animations looks so robotic. Ten years old games have better animations than TESO, is unacceptable.

I agree. I just want to play with a friend so I don't get bored as easily.

me too, but there is a reason for it...

I created a new character in a new alliance... There is lots of bugs and none working quests, but these quests blocking me lvling into whole areas, so I am kind of stuck and borred, trying to see how this works... The prev time, we relloged and fixed after many trys... Now they fix the relloging "fix" method, but they forgot to fix the quests hhehehe

I am stuck at lvl 10 and I cant go further... Also the pvp campaigns are soooo many and all of them empty. I joined in 1 campaign, but now I cant move into another for at least 12 hours, till the beta ends (LOL), That means, I cant experience any pvp.

Yesterday I saw dozen of people in EU servers, today.... not many

here is 2 topics I ve made about a quests, but no answer from anybody... so I am stuck. One quest unlocks a whole area story, but its bugged....

Well my wife and I play together so we're never bored. It's true, imminent deletion of my characters makes a lot ambitions pointless, but there is so much to do, I am spending all of my time learning new things to hit the road running at launch. And we have born playing only 2 alliances so our launch alliance will be fresh.

I'm bored of it. When I enter combat, I don't even go through physiological changes.

I don't know if bored is the right word for me. I've been in quite a few beta weekends already and now I know this is the last one so mostly just waiting until launch. With it so close and knowing it's all gone I'm now having a hard time wanting to do much, but still pushing myself to get my dragonknight to 10 so I can try pvp with him since I can't decide between dual wield dragon knight or nightblade hehe.

Way bored here, but ... I may log back on later.

I'm playing on with my level 15 dunmer and the new area is filled with bugs and fairly unbalanced game play. It feels like they just have not really tested the new areas. It seems if this is the case then geez even zones beyond that are gonna be shaky. Post release and still a lot of beta testing going on. Who would want to pay full price for a game and have that much left unaddressed? Some do I guess.

Bored of MMO game play. Bored of watching people hop around like rabbits.

Bored of the fact that if I start a new character I'd see most of the same things again: on rails quests through zones.

Despite running into an inordinate amount of broken quests I am far from bored.

I also noticed that my character is stuck in the quest : Daughter of Giants... the quest bugs in the pile of rocks and I cant teleport, abandon the quest or move out! lol

so thats it for this character? Anybody knows what to do? here is the topic I opened for it.. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1494840-quest-daughter-of-giants/#entry23485649

I'm really enjoying it. The only boredom is coming from the knowledge that the characters are going to be deleted and that the release is still 2 weeks away.

I'm far from bored. But will admit that I haven't engaged in, or immersed, myself fully into the community aspects of the game like I usually do. I haven't bothered to join more than a couple of groups, haven't bothered to shop for any guilds, nor attempted to interact much with other players. Mainly because I know a wipe is coming and the pool of players will grow and change dramatically when the game goes I've.

So while I have missed out on a rather important aspect of the game, it was my decision to do so.

This is what happens when you don't have good social mechanics in an MMO.

Players get bored very quickly when they realize its a single player game with added multiplayer aspects.

Reminds me of SWTOR...

As someone who bought the collectors edition, I hope they can address this.

You have to play with people it makes it soo much more enjoyable. Be open to grouping with strangers, and if know one is talking try to initiate conversation.

I hope after launch Zenimax really hones in on grouping, and understands the fun from player to player interaction.

There are some quests which have been bugged for 3 betas now. I know people say stuff like this build is different from the PTS build, but seriously how much different can it be 2 weeks from launch? And if the PTS build is actually so much less buggy than what we are playing , you would think they would actually let the final beta feature the PTS build to give people a good impression. I am actually worried now being the map completionist sort of player before moving on to the next map.

My disappointment with PvP is actually why I'll probably not buy the game. I had too high expectations though, as an Elder Scrolls MMO is something I've played with in my head since Morrowind.
This plays like Battlefield.

Exploration is nice though. I could imagine some rather awesome battles on these hills and bridges, if maximum viewable distance was increased a lot. Along with range on weapons and spells. Plus removal of auto-hit...

I agree with this. I'm not even playing right now and I haven't in a couple hours because I got bored for some reason. I don't think I'll be bored like this when it actually releases because then I know my characters aren't going to get wiped and I won't have to eventually start over. I will also know that I can' play it any time I want and I will have more than two and a half days to play it.
