Now that makes sense. I'd never been in the Black-Briar Manor (in Riften) basemant before (no cause), so I thought I was missing out on something. The Lodge is another story. Not sure I get the "I dare you" part though, but at least the looting and Dibella statue references make sense.

It's not in the basemant - it's in Maven's bedroom on a bookshelf. The Dibella Statue comment was more of an answer to the Title; the "...and, yes, I've seen the basemant." was more of an answer to the post.

I'm only getting more confused. I just went to the BB Lodge basemant, and again, what's down there that prompted this thread? There's a chest, Sibbi's strongbox stash (gold), and that's it.

Then the Dibella thing made me recall a room with a wall case with a few Dibella statues and a basemant with some decent loot. I think I've been thinking about Mercer Frey's house in Riften, Riftweald Manor, but there's only one Dibella statue there. Isn't there some place with like a bunch of Dibella statues, or am I trippin'?

The OP is referring to Black-Briar Manor in Riften. In the basemant is the Sacrament and on a bookshelf in Maven's bedroom is a Dibella Statue.

In Riftweald Manor there is also a Dibella Statue.

I don't think there's one in the Black-Briar Lodge in The Rift.

I've never seen more than one in one place. I know the one at Deekus' camp respawns though.

Now wait a doggone minnit. I thought it'd been established that the OP was referring to the Lodge (note the Frost and Sibbi refs in a few posts), and since in my first post, I addressed the Manor, but got redirected to the Lodge... (*circus music plays in the background*).

So anyway, I used my handy-dandy console to rapidly investigate all 3 possible locations: the Manor in Riften, the Lodge east of Riften, and Mercer's house in Riften. None of them are exciting, but Mercer's has the most and best loot.

Dibella statue-wise: there's one in Riftweald, one in BB Manor, one in Broken Tower Redoubt, one in the Temple in Markarth, one in Haelga's Bunkhouse, one in Brinewater Grotto, one spawns with Velekh Sain's treasure, and the one at Hela's Folly (Deekus' camp). That's it, AFAIK. *shrugs* I just don't know why, in my mind's-eye, I see a room full of Dibella statues. Maybe she's trying to commune with me...

You're probably seeing visions of my Honeyside and Breezehome houses. I have one on display in Honeyside and one in a chest and two on display in Breezehome (one in my bedroom and one in Lydia's) and two in a chest.

I actually bought that song and have it on my iPhone. I used to play it through Vent or TeamSpeak when I played MMOs and an 'operation' went awry.
