Anyone Else Curious As To What "Dragon Bridge" Is?

Okay....Better image http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/6466/greenman.png. His head sort of looks like a green PacMan.

I can see where your coming from with the Argonian thing, but the 'tail' is simply too straight, therefore it must be a scabbard

Well, it wouldn't help if he's very tiny.

You know that taking a tiny picture, and just stretching it out, doesn't improve the quality at all, right? The picture is too low res for either of us to really be certain as to what it is.

A Dragon Bridge is a Giant Dragon of Bones over a Small Canyon, you walk through the Skeletal Mouth, over the Spine with the Ribs on the side and then it ends with the Tail on the Other Side, oh and its also a 500 Foot Drop. ;)

Watch Red Sonja, thats what a Dragon Bridge is. :)

Obviously no one knows.... Just will have to wait and see.... But ya on a message board no harm in doing the thread but still anyone's guess...

Please see the map linked in OP's post and the pic in my first post (or even better, the pic from Shasow's below my first post). The geography lines up with the water under the rock in the picture... so I'd say we know what Dragon Bridge is, we just don't know what race the NPC in the pic is.

Edit: daventry, I read your post the first 2 times you posted it. No need to keep retyping it and editing your previous posts.

I'm not so sure that that's Dragon Bridge. I think it's just the city of Solitude that is parched atop the rock arch. Just my opinion, though.

I've watched CSI, and it totally does.:P

Also just to stop Daventry from making Red Sonja references... Yes sir. You are correct that would be a dragon bridge.

No offense, but you're wrong.
http://riftwall.com/images/skyrim_text.jpg's a map showing where Dragon Bridge is (Upper left, NW if North is up).
http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/2545/dbrige.png's a picture showing Dragon Bridge.

It can't be since http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/2545/dbrige.png it shows mountains an land in the background. And according to http://riftwall.com/images/skyrim_text.jpg there are no mountains. I could be wrong though. It might not even be Dragon Bridge or anywhere near Solitude since it doesn't seem there are any mountains in Solitude.

Yeah, it seems a bit too monumental to be a smaller settlement. No real reason at all to associate it with Dragon Bridge. It's not impossible, but Solitude seems much more likely.

What happens when you cross over an arch? It becomes a bridge. The waterway in the pic matches the water in the map (as far as can reasonably be determined). Everything labeled on that map that can be found on UESP.net is the name of a city/town/settlement. We're not seeing the full settlement in the pic, but at the same time, if they're building on a rock bridge over a waterway, how small can it really be?

Perhaps it's a bridge with the term "Dragon" present in it's name?

since its all speculation anyway im gonna have to say that the image is actually the junction right between Rift and Sunguard, as you can see, the horizon clearly shows a body of water and this junction seems to fit the cartography of the image.

i think the natural stone bridge is actually the portion of the route from Eastmarch... the image seems to be right where it crosses the river.

Probably just a Bridge or town, because dragons are a part of Nord culture (they "awake" for a reason...)

this is the most likely.
