Anyone Else Curious As To What "Dragon Bridge" Is?

Post » Fri Jul 22, 2011 6:43 pm

Do you guys think it is an actual bridge, or could it just be the name of a settlement or other POI? Well obviously it will be a POI but what exactly will it be? When I think "Dragon Bridge" I think the obvious and assume it is an actual bridge; a large bridge leading from one side of a wide river to a very close location to Solitude, kind of like the bridge south of the IC. Do you guys think it could have something to do with the main quest? This is something I'm more curious about as far as the known landmarks we've learned to know. I know someone might say "We probably won't know until we play the game" but I think it's fun to discuss unknown places in a game like Skyrim.

http://riftwall.com/images/skyrim_text.jpg This is the best picture I could find that shows Dragon Bridge. Don't know how accurate it is though.

Maybe a couple of dragons get together and use their bodies as a bridge, and then try to kill you.

Whatever it is, it should live up to the trippy awesomeness of Dragon Break, Dragon Shout and Dragon Stop.

Since Dragon tends to stand in for Time, I say it's a wormhole.

Well there used to be dragons long ago, and they vanished but have now returned, right? Maybe the bridge is built with skeletons of dragons, or they are used as decorative features. Giant skulls on each end, with bones used for support beams?

Or it's just a regular old bridge, called dragon bridge?

It's a settlement. Look at 1:21 of the official trailer from elderscrolls.com.

Edit... I hope I can link this...it's from their site (with additional junk on the top that shows the original page that the video was playing in...)

Edit: Shasow's image below is better.

That's clearly a human (probably a guard or something) with a sword.

Then why is he green and why is he walking/standing like that and why are his legs like that?

Are we looking at the same picture? His legs are slightly bent and he's not green at all.

Because you took a tiny picture and stretched it out, and ruined the coloring of the photo. Also, it could be due to the lighting, or perhaps his helmet color, or maybe he's an orc. An argonian, however, he is not.

I hope he isn't an Argonian, because he doesn't live up to my impossibly high standards of what an Argonian should look like.

Edit: Damn, I got ninja'd on that Orc thing
