Is anyone else going to fight both the NCR & CL?

One of my main goals in NV (along with playing hardcoe on very hard & putting a bullet in Mr. House) is to take on both factions. Anyone else going to do this?

I probably will on my third playthrough, after siding with each of them in my first and second play throughs

I will most possibly join that punk "House" in my 7th or 8th playthrough and make enemy with both NCR and CL.
So at some point, yes.
Oh and for the genocide playthrough.

How didn't the censors catch that?

Eh, I don't think that's censored.
I'll probably just join NCR. I can't bring myself to be evil in games. Unless its all out kill everyone evil. For fun.

The censors seem to have odd, uh, conditions, for censoring words. For instance, you can say ass, but not [censored]. Weird, huh? (The censored word is the one Red loves to use on That 70s Show.)

I will probably be going the independent route on my first playthrough, looking out for myself only unless one of the factions really gives me a persuasive argument, because I'm not a big fan of slavers, gangs, elitist chumps in metal armor, rich big-wigs, and I hated the NCR in Fallout 2.

Is it also a pit where they throw donkeys?

It is more of another term for a stupid donkey, one that would walk into a pit.

I might have to kill some NCR if I want to side with the BoS. That's about as far as I'd want to go. Being a total psychopath just isn't a very fun way to play the game for me.

I will when I go with House and possibly when I go down the solo route. I'm not sure if the solo path will make you neutral or make all of the factions hate you, or a mix. I suppose we'll all find out.

I don't intend to be an evil psychopath, I just wanna be my own 3rd faction in their war. As for House, who doesn't want to take down the top dog? I know I do XD

Mehehehe, exactly the same with me. I can't play as an evil guy unless I do it for kicks and laughs AKA GTA IV syndrome :P

Yeah, GTA IV was turning point where I discovered I could be evil, but only if I was doing insanely hilarious things.

I kind of have the same problem with being an evil character too. I won't be a sadistic lunatic in any of my playthroughs. I will side with the Legion a couple times, not because my character is a bastard who wants to enslave people and kill innocents, but because my character agrees with the approach CL is taking.

I love being so deliciously evil. Not any of that pansy "for the right cause" anti-hero stuff, I'm talking bombing Megaton and wrecking Vault 101 forcing the defenseless inhabitants to become the prey of the wastes.

Thats one of my favorite aspects of FO3, you can be as downright cruel and sadistic as you want and I love it, I embrace it completely.

Being evil can be fun, I just hope being evil will not make everybody in the game hate you.
Seriously, I might join a faction like other small factions or the BoS and fight against BOTH.
That would be awesome.

I'm actually the opposite
I found it extremely difficult to do my evil playthroughs
Its weird even though its a game my morals almost force me to pick the good karma choices
But I guess I'm just weird like that

Since I essentially play as myself (goody two shoes with a side of misbehavior) the first time around, I'll probably be siding with NCR since I'm a corrupt politician at heart. It would take alot for them to scare me away.

I'm begging Caesar's Legion to give me some serious incentive to join their side though. One of the greatest surprises in FO3 was how The Pitt managed to get me to side with Ashur.

Somehow I doubt Caesar's intentions are quite as redeeming as Ashur's (depending on how you look at it) but I'm curious to see what his positives are. Obsidian have said both factions could have both positive and negative effects on the wastes with their differing philosophies.

I don't know if I want screw both factions but I wanna manipulate both sides as long as I can. I hope there's a choice between being a factions champion and being their enemy. Do their quests and steal all there stuff is usually a good strategy.

That being said I too usually have a tough time being evil, I have no idea why since it's just a freakin game. Always thought that injecting real world morality into some game was an interesting phenomena.

I'm the exact way. I made an evil character named 'Keyser Soze' (Unusual Suspects) and I couldn't bring myself to be rude or do evil deeds. I'm a pathetic Keyser Soze. The only thing I did bad on that game was blow up Megaton and I still feel bad about that.
