Well you'll still be required to get http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1086 mod then you won't have to connect to the internet with Fallout 3 whatsoever.
The Readme says something about using the "Move DLC" button. Exactly how does that work and such?

I can't be sure as I have the Steam version of FO3 and my DLC weren't in any hidden folder. I think the "Move DLCs" option only applies if you had bought FO3 from the GFWL. You'll know after you install FO3 and check the Data folder if the DLC files are there. If not then you'll have to use the "Move DLC" option.

Guess I′ll figure it out as I go along. If not I know where to ask  I′m really excited but I can′t install it yet. Should be sleeping now actually if I want to stay awake at work tomorrow

Kids got to love them....
For me I have been playing Fallout 3 since it came out, possibly tons of different starts. I play for weeks on end, then once I get bored with it. I shelf it and play other games. Hell I'm still playing some PS1 games that I still have. :-) Then I go out buy a new game or two and play them in tell I get bored with them and I find myself going right back to Fallout 3 again and again. Yet now I have to put New Vegas onto that list do to I love the weapons, Ammo and weapons mods with that game.

That′s why Fallout won′t replace Oblivion. It will be interesting to play it but I already know I′m gonna return to Cyrodiil

Sounds like you are more of a quest type of player which is Fallout 3's weakest suit. One of the reasons I think Fallout 3 remained so replayable for me was because I loved the atmosphere and the "exploration" element. The quests were okay, but definitely not the reason I continue to play it to this day.

Mods are also a great means of extending play life. Have you checked out any quest mods for Fallout 3 yet?
i know the exploration is the best part of fallout for me i love the look of the wasteland and the story of how it became the wasteland

Yea, I agree. Post apocalyptic settings do fuel my imagination, just as much as fantasy settings do, like in Skyrim or Oblivion. However, Fallout 3 hits a bit closer to home, since it uses real landmarks and seems more realistic. During the 50's, everybody thought a nuclear war was a real possibility. We also saw a lot of tensions in the 80's. I guess that's why Fallout 3 is a great "what if" scenario. I also love the fact that the timeline split and the culture never really evolved, but stayed with the 50's and 60's style. lol Pretty cool stuff!
