A friend of mine and I have a running joke that Brian Wilks always seems to show up at the most ridiculous and inopportune moments. And it became almost scary story to the point that I could see him running after me and I would just book it into the Super Duper Mart to escape his inevitable *interface activated* "Those... those monsters!"...

For me I just found it fun to see how long I could go without running into him and having to start the "Those!" quest. For my friend, however, he hated that quest so much and would take all precautions to avoid it starting because he hated even having the quest in his PipBoy.

...So this one time my friend is running nearby Super Duper Mart and sure enough, movement is seen in the distance and the blood drains in his face as he realizes its Brian [censored] Wilks... My friend starts off in the other direction for about 4-5 minutes of running and swimming and such until he can no longer see Brian Wilks anywhere nearby. Just to be sure he waited another 5 minutes and kept looking around and then decided it was clear. So my friend moves up to a nearby bridge and notices dozens of frag mines riddled in its surface. So my friend, still worried about Brian Wilks being nearby, surveys the area once more and confirms Brian is nowhere to be seen. So my friend turns around and approaches a frag mine and the familiar *beep* *beep* *beep* of the proximity alarm in the frag mine sounds an before my friend can disarm the frag mine... *Interface activated* Camera pans to none other than Brian Wilks... "Those... Those monsters!"... My friend is pissed. He finishes the conversation with Brian and then over a dozen frag mines detonate... Instant death... Thanks Brian Wilks!
