Anyone else have alt-itis?

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 8:43 pm

Hey everyone! im about 60/70 hours in to the game total, and i already have four characters. none of them are level 30, and they all play completely different. I cant seem to stick to a single character type for long because im always wondering "I wonder what that wouldve been like if i was a mage. Lets find out!" and then starting over. Anybody else like this?

guilty as charged. What I do is I try to stick to one character archetype and ONLY do the MQ until the end, then, since I'm on the PC, use the console to plink my character up to be a master-of-all and try other playstyles.

If I like a different playstyle enough, I start from scratch and redo it all :D

Started my fourth character yesterday, most of them have very specific roles so just a part of the game fits them imo. Like my Stormcloak rebel character, or my pure mage.

I've restarted 3 times, but most of that was due to learning the game. It was either too hard or too easy, so I finally found a happy middle ground.

Nope. My thief is currently lvl 54, but I'm going for 81 before I even think of making a new account.

I've restricted myself into two characters intially (warrior/mage and stealth) since I don't have time to restart as much as I did in MW

I'm having a hard time getting to a point of fun with my characters. I started as a pure warrior but I find playing a pure warrior boring (not particularly in Skyrim, just in general) so I made a mage... then I got to a higher level and realized destruction svcked... then I made a battlemage and that was disastrous. I generally don't like stealth but I'm inclined to give it a shot I guess.
