Anyone else have to immediatly read locked threads?

Post » Sat Jun 07, 2014 10:06 am

Just wondering if it's my own personal sickness or if others open up this (or other) forums, see the locked threads and read those first.

I also scroll my mouse pointer over peoples names on the bottom of the screen to see what they're doing ..... I may have a sickness.

Anyone have any odd things they forum wise they want to admit to?

Oh yeah, and this isn't a discussion about why forum threads get locked .... so don't.

Yes. "Ooh, a locked thread, there may be gossip!" etc.

I don't think anyone implied that you shouldn't give your opinion .... even if it may not be apparent how it has anything to do with the topic

One was my alt account. Ah, I see who the other is (we can see anonymous users), so nothing to worry about.

Of course I go to locked threads - well those that are locked before post limit. I have even been known to lock a few myself.

If a thread gets locked between three and four pages, I always read it. Less than three and the thread probably just breas some rule, and more than four I don't have time for.

Yeah, locked threads probably have some interesting stuff in them. Especially if it involves someone embarrassing themselves.

Aside from that, I like to view the profiles of everyone on other members' friends lists.

you asked what are some odd things we do on forums. I don't talk out much in real life so it's abit odd for me to actually give out my opinion

Some times I do. I don't really feel an urgent need though, only if I'm really bored and don't feel like typing on another thread. It can be funny, it can be just as boring as not even clicking on the topic, or it could be something else. Usually the something else makes me wonder why the person thought it was a good idea to type a certain thing to begin with.
