Anyone else have the a "loud music" glitch in multiplayer?

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 4:36 pm

The volume in the pre lobby or before a game is retarded. It's extremely loud and distorted. I wonder if anyone else notices this, and I really hope they patch it. It's obnoxious.

I turned the music volume down because of that. Also the dialogue volume....got tired of hearing that creepy voice. Sounds like the dude from the Saw films.

The wire frame rotating city scape is also more compressed than it was in the demo. Coupled with the music bug that pre-game load screen went from "pretty cool" to "I can't wait for this thing to stop playing".

turn it off in the settings...this solved my issue...and bam...no more music that means no more distortion or it getting horribly loud....easy as that :)
oh and don't say you like to listen to the music...because if you do then you're queer :)

Hans Zimmer scored the most beautifull soundtrack ever to grace a videogame - i don′t want to turn it off! The music is top quality, i even dare to say too good to be in a simple videogame. They just need to go to that particular track and edit the volume, patch it, and upload the tiny file...

I should not have to turn Hans Zimmer down. There are at least two songs playing at the same time when it distorts. Hans Zimmer shouldn't play against himself.

It's better than the demo for me. I turned the music volume way down though...

Demo was ridiculous...

Music bug. Just know it's listed in the grand bug/glitch thread, so hopefully it will be patched soon enough.

Like the title :)

This is another annoying bug...I'm wearing 5.1 headphones ta boot...I think I got ear drum damage the first time I heard this. I've since turned the music down to level 40 in options. This helped.

YO CRYTEK...Let this community know that you're addressing this and other game breaking bugs like the 'GRAIN EFFECT' bug.

No responses...no moderators...this is a poor excuse of a forum.

"This is an awesome Sci-Fi shooter"
However Please Change the Menu Music. Have the menu music be more like space ambient music "just a suggestion" because hearing the same exact song blaring every 5 or so minutes is annoying, I'm aware of the distorted audio, this needs to be fixed. Changing it will be a pleasing and engaging experience to each game executed.

Well its not even working at the moment, it plays the same song multiple times and sounds crackly, it seems fixing the thing we've got is asking for too much too..

Lower it in your music/audio settings. Simple fix!

Its buggy. It starts off ok, but between rounds goes really loud and distorted. Just 1 of the hundreds of bugs that needs fixing.
