I always intended to get the season pass at some point. But this has prompted me to buy it as soon as my wages hit the bank today. Even managed to grab a 20% discount on Greenman, so only cost me £20
I bought the Season Pass a few months ago when I bought the game.
I probably will once the first DLC hits. BTW, since this is my first Fallout game are Bethesda's DLC usually pretty good?
They are worth the money that's for sure.
Bethesda learned a lot from the horse armor debacle in Oblivion and DLCs always have a ton of content since then regardless if Fallout 3 or Skyrim.
Still if it is content that you personally like can no one predict. It's not that the season pass will go away (there are no signs for it) so I am pretty sure you can safely wait until at least 2 DLCs are released before you buy it.
I bought mine shortly after it was announced .
Nah, I'll still be waiting until we have actual details of the first DLC / possibly the day before it comes out. No rush.
I bought it a couple of months ago, as I know I'm going to get all the DLCs when they come out over the next 1-2 years. Bethesda's DLCs are mostly really good and often add new features to the overall game as well. The first one, whatever it is, seems like it will give an overhaul to the survival mode which I'm really looking forward to.
Not going to buy the pass until they announce what the first dlc is going to be. Just incase they try and pawn off another heathfire.
Nope and i am not buying it at all. There is no guarantee yet that i want every DLC that is released (though it is likely) and i don't want to pay in advance for things like this. I don't even Pre-order games. I will say that even though i dislike season pass as a business practice, atleast Bethesda had the common sense to set a realistic price for it *looks over at Star Wars Battlefront*.
Hey man, EA has to do something to keep that title of "Worst company ever".
As for the season pass, no. When the DLC comes out then I'll see if it's worth buying (High chance that it is). Currently however, I don't buy things that don't exist.
Purchased the Season Pass shortly after buying Fallout 4 yet before game release.
Even though we don't know what the DLC will entail it is actually somewhat comforting to me that Bethesda is listening to ideas from the community. That in of itself was enough for me to purchase the SP as there are many excellent ideas from members which would fit in the Fallout 4 time frame and lore very well.
l bought the season pass before Fallout 4 released (you could play it.)
l just hope fallout 4's DLC is as good as The following for Dying light. Can l please have a hover tank made from scrap Mr Handy's armed with a Gatling laser.
There is controversy about "season passes". In reality, it should be a way for the gamer to save money if he/she intends to buy all the upcoming dlcs, and assuming that he/she trusts the developer enough to create a dlc that is worth the money. Unfortunately, that's not always true. Thus far I've felt that Bethesda's dlcs have been worth it, going back to Tribunal and Bloodmoon for Morrowind (although, at least at the time, those were considered "expansions" as opposed to "dlcs). One thing I was glad not to see was "day 1 dlc". When a game company does that, and charges for it, that screams of cut content labled dlc so they can milk more money from the player.
If beth done that l would no longer support any new DLC's from future Fallout's Elder Scrolls games.
....or that they were able to keep their creative/art/story dev teams usefully employed during the period between "game content finished" and "bugs squashed/game certified by Sony & MS/game released".
(edit: yeah, I generally don't believe in the "cut content!" argument. Unless the whole DLC is on the disc - not just some code tags included so that the DLC can connect to the game properly.)
DLC for Bethesda games has never disappointed me so far (overlooking horse armor), so I am going to end up purchasing whatever they release, but I haven't bought the season pass yet, because I like to try and not pre-order things anymore, just as a principle. I feel like pre-paying for anything is insanity and it has gotten out of hand anymore.
got it as soon as pre-order was available.
this should be a poll.
I pre-ordered the deluxe edition, so I have both the game and season pass. I love every single Bethesda title to date and have bought the digital versions of the Fallout 3 DLC for $25.00, because of it being backwards compatible with Xbox One, and I hate putting the disc in every time I want to play the extra content. I have played a lot of them on Xbox 360 before I had internet and different Gamertag I have since deleted then switched to PC for a while when I finally got internet, since it's expensive to keep going on PC for me right now, I'm back to Xbox, being Xbox One.
Confused. You have a PC but it's too expensive to run? So you bought an Xbox One. There must be some reason here, I just don't understand.
Why in hell is x b o n e being turned into Xbox One?
