I was able to download it. But I'm having a problem joining servers, since the game is telling me that my reg key is invalid. Yet, it's the one I received via steam. Anyone have any ideas? I'm super pissed about this.

Well, I don't get it. Why would they release it for download now, if the game can't be played online for another 2 hours? Is there some kind of timed activation or something?

Yeah, there is timed activation. But no pre-load because they are idiot.
