I always find it annoying how Americans do not have their dates in a logical order. Days in months in years is how we have it (1/11/11) rather than months which contain days in years (11/1/11). When I first heard of that, I was excited to think I might be able to get it as early as the 11th of January.

we do our own thing, we dont use metric system, and we do our dates our way
heck we butchered english xD

And don't get anybody started on Fahrenheit vs. Celsius.....out of respect, I always post temperatures here in Celsius, of course I always have to google for a conversion...
...... and this is off the chart from the OP's Uncharted 3 topic, but I don't care about that game anyways.....
.....11-11-11 is a different story.

Were to lazy to say "of" so we just say November 11th, not 11th of November. :P

You don't need the of when writing it, its just 11 November 2011.

The release date of Uncharted 3 has no significance other than that it's a Tuesday, the most common release day for software. Skyrim's release date was not only chosen because it's a cool date, but because it's a Friday. Beth is considerate enough to realize that most of their fans have responsibilities outside of gaming and it is far more convenient for their fans if the game is released at the end of the week than at the start of the week.

I think you're being a bit hopeful.

Veterans day is November 11th as well. Also, on 11/11/11, Americans and Europeans (yes, thats right, a single country versus a whole continent[inb4 eurasia]) can both write their dates the same way. For me, 11/11/11 is not just VD, nor is it the Skyrim release date, it is peace between the U.S. and Europe about the conflict of date writing day.

It says something when people get in an international dike waving contest over whose date system is better.

This makes no sense! What can a man do with 11 Novembers?1?!?!!?/!
Nothing more than a man with 1 November I tell you. For we cannot live them simultaneously. Join the Americans and finally realize the fundaments of causality.

It says something when people get in an international dike waving contest over whose date system is better.

I hope no one seriously thinks this great date debate will mean anything by the next morning.
